Appreciate the info! I assume I can just get in touch with cuddeback to see about swapping the K's out? I have 4 of them and pretty sure I had an annual plan on 2 of them and paid monthly for over a year on the other two.
I bought some K-5789 cams a couple years ago. When I bought them I had to have an active sell plan for them to work at all. Does anyone know if this is still the case or can I use them as a stand alone traditional cam? I was told when I bought them that after a year I might be able to use them...
Many of the treatments can actually hurt the germ which is why a lot of seed doesn't get treated until right before it gets planted. If there's any micro-fractures in the seed coat then the chemical can get into the seed over time and kill the germ.
How big is this gonna be? I'd hate to do the more blades route and it not weigh enough to do it's job.... But I'd also hate for it gum up and not be usable with less blades.
Not really familiar with beets but if they were treated then that might be the culprit. There's a reason seed dealers don't let you return treated soybeans.
I don't really have much to offer here but I love my hyd top link. I have a 40hp Kubota and have never had issues with my top link dropping anything other than after I park it, if there's weight on it, it will slowly extend till the weight hits the ground or it extends all the way.
I'd say you're welcome to come hunt it but I don't think you'd like it if you're looking for deer. It's in an area that's almost 100% ag production. Last year during firearms season only 77 deer were killed in the entire county.
The cam is about in the middle of all of this...
This year is an anomaly but it's not uncommon to have corn being combined in September in IL or MO. In fact I would say most farmers will for sure have started by the time Sept. is over.
It's a little late for turnips and such but I've had good luck with crimson clover and cereal grain mix...
Oh I understand that. But it's a lot easier to manage now than it was before. Was thinking about planting one field in RR alfalfa so I can spray glyphosate to keep the SL knocked back.
When I bought my place the open pasture areas were over grown with sericea lespedeza. Rather than try and battle it myself I cash rented the ground out for 5 years while the farmer paid me and he got rid of 95% of SL. I looked into enrolling in CRP but my place wasn't eligible with the old farm...
Stumbled across this forum trying to search for how to get my Cuddebacks working.
I bought 4 of the K-5789 cams for work. What I need out of them work wise is to send me pictures a few times a day of some bean fields so I can try and monitor their growth stages. Each site is far enough away...
