    Bluehill 2025

I bought 3 persimmons and 2 chestnuts this year. I expected small trees and they were, but that was ok. First time I was unimpressed with the root systems on the persimmons from Bluehill. Wish I took some photos. I hope they make it. Their apple and pear trees have been awesome for me...

    Stark Bros Sale

I picked up a Golden Russet apple for $18.16 with free shipping. Last apple I needed for my future cider collection. No idea about rootstock, but it said it was a semi dwarf. LOL.

    Whats under your Sleeve?

Planted Haralson, freedom, and big deer crab from St. Lawrence nursery. Also planted winter deer pear and sweet advent pear from Blue hill. Grafted 10 Antokova rootstock from blue hill, the rootstock was enormous, almost too big.

    Bush Cherry’s

I am interested as well. I have 4 Nanking in my yard, I made jelly last year and really enjoyed it. I'd love to get a bush with a bigger cherry like a Carmine jewel or Wowza

Fruit trees/nut trees/shrubs for deer that love wet soil

I know it's off the beaten path a little, but Mulberry loves some wet soil. deer love the leaves and a lot of critters like the berries. I have had good luck with Pear and Persimmon on wet ground too.

    November drop persimmon

Cages, but this area has the richest black dirt I've ever seen. It's low lying and gets pretty wet. Apples cannot live there. Pears do ok, but persimmons seem to love it.

    Stark EZ Start root boxes

I bought some paw paw from them. I bought them from stark because they offered them in the EZ start boxes((basically potted). I have found potted Paw Paws to grow fantastic as the bare root paw paws are about 50/50 mortality rate, for me anyway. My paw paws from Stark are growing excellent
