Throw n Mow Rutabaga

I'm thinking about planting rutabaga next spring. Can it be done by throw n mow?

I did it this spring. They turned out just fine. What will you be TNM them into? Hopefully a winter cereal. The areas in my plot that had rye had much less weed competition.

It's a grassy area that used to be mowed and baled for cattle but they don't mow this area any more.

You shuld be able to TnM them, run over it with a cultipacker or drive over it should help with germination too.

I'm assuming that you will have good results. If it were me I would spray the grasses when they are about 18" tall and seed and mow about 7 days later.
