Not sure. We have a Spartan - while the picture quality and detection are great, we get maybe 25%+ of the actual things that go in front of the camera. I've verified this walking / driving in front of it several times. Other brands are similar, you don't get near what is actually there vs the non-cell camera. Could be limited by the wireless networks, I'm not sure..
Most cell cams do not take pictures if it’s transmitting. So I’m sure that could contribute. I don’t of any camera, cell or not that nails subjects on every trigger.

Man I must have really good luck with cameras. I've bought all my Cuddebacks used and I've had them all a minimum of 3 years now and some I've had for 5+. I've only had one problem. The infrared got stuck on one and all of the daytime pics were pink. I sent it back to Cuddeback and they fixed it for free even out of warranty. They are all the older C and E models. I have a nicer Browning $150 range that's been running great for 4 years. My dad has 2 old cheap wild game cameras that are still working 8+ years. I think they were called the Red 6. They're all black. It took the pic below in WV this past season. I am pretty sure that they do miss a lot of pics.

the red 6 was good cheap cam except for the fact it was loud and make a picture sound. It resulted in a lot of pictures just like the one you posted. Staring right at the camera. He’s loading up to get the hell out of dodge after hearing it.

I can remember the anticipation of taking that roll of film to walmart one hour photo to see what had been in front of the camera, only to find a piece of johnson grass blowing in the wind. Those were the days!

Or driving 2 hours to grab the film and the batteries were dead after just a few pics. Should have just put new batteries in each time. Lithiums would have been nice back then.

Somewhere I've got hundreds of pics from it hidden away. Here's one. Flash range wasn't the greatest.

We actually got quite a few pics of him on that occasion. That stand wasn't very far off a well road-hunted road and it's WV so it's on a bait pile so I'm sure he was already pretty nervous. I really can't believe a buck like that came in, in the daylight. That's a giant for that area. Naturally nobody was in the blind that day.
