Not quite the truck bed load I shared above in post #65, but you might be a habitat guy when... instead of ordering food from Macky D's while your daughter takes a piano lesson next door you're kneeling on the ground in front of their sign at one of the busiest intersections in town picking up acorns from an oak that's still dropping viable acorns in early February!
In all seriousness, while believing them to be of a red oak variety anybody able to confirm and / or point to a particular oak species? Super late dropper for sure and interestingly the acorns from this tree looked to be about a month of so behind a row of like trees behind it. Would only add you REALLY might be a habitat guy when you've planted all the oaks you possibly can but STILL can't resist picking up viable acorns.
