Withilachocee River flooding in Central FL

We have 2 egg complexes located along the the Withilachocee River in central FL. The river is set to crest on Thursday this week.

These guys are headed to high ground which means our roads, steps, and chicken houses.

I hope you make it through it ok... Looks like a mess.

I'm guessing you have a LOT of chickens in each of those buildings?

What happened to the fish? Get trapped and die?

Honestly caught off guard to hear y'all got that much rain and it's taken as long as it has for the water to start going down. Guess being just a hair on the west side of the center helped temper the rain a bit for us. Though guessing we got 4" or so (gracious plenty), it was definitely more of a wind event than a rain one for us.

Hurricane looks like it did quite a job on that poor rattler. :emoji_wink:
