Surfacant for Gly and Cleth

Should I buy factory made surfactant for spraying or is it OK to dump some liquid dishsoap in the sprayer?
I'm using a backpack sprayer and not doing very large areas.

I would just spend the 20 bucks or so buying the surfactant. The stuff lasts forever and is worth the peace of mind when spraying.
Dish soap can work but not very well depending on your water hardness or the product itself.
