Road side pear

Mahindra3016

5 year old buck +
This pear tree is loaded every year and drops some of the pears on to the berm, I picked this one off of the roadside last evening, I grafted this pear two years ago, should be a very good deer pear because of the size and drop time, not to bad tasting, a little tart but sweet almost a lemon aftertaste.
One odd thing about this tree is its weeping form, the grafts I have done are also weeping.

I grafted Bartlett scions on an unknown pear and some grafts that grew out were "weeping" too.
No idea what causes that or why.
