MN duck opener

It wasn't the greatest opener, but it was the opener of duck season, so I had to go. Duck numbers seemed low from the 2 weekends before scouting. That scouting turned out to be about right, not a ton of birds around. I ended up with 2 geese, 3 woodies and a teal on opening morning. Gave the 11 year old yellow lab a work out in the cattails. Fun to get out and start the season! Going to give the MN birds a break now and head to Manitoba for a week.

Nice, good to get the pup out working! Ours comes in on Oct 20th...hope we do as good as you did, it's all about the dog work for me.
