Sorry man!! that stinks.

That so sucks

Were they younger trees?
A lot of my younger trees that set fruit for the first time seem to drop a lot of them after a week or two.

All were rootstock + grafted in the spring of 2013, so, yeah young trees in my mind. They have all given up some fruit in years past. Good news, my 5 honeycrisp are holding onto a ton of fruit, knock on wood, uh oh - probably just jinxed it.
Pixie Crunch, loaded
Goldrush - freakishly loaded - thinning this will be a big job.
Sundance - Loaded - and these are largish sized apples and prone to breaking branches - my thought - thin it like it owes you money.
Williams Pride - loaded - got to protect this guy from Jays and Flickers when the fruit is close to ripe - they got more than me last year.
American Crab - unbelievable fruit load - and it should be as it took last year off - I had to prop branches up the year before - looks to be the same for this year.
