Craigslist - gotta be a scam?

As mentioned the ones I see have a womans name in an email and a stupid low price.just flag them.I got scamed when I was looking at a UTV on ebay.It changed to a private site and I didn't notice.Anyway sent a deposit through the bank to Tempe AZ.Then that night I heard that somebody said what they do is look on google earth to see if that business is there before they send money.Well it wasn't but after several phone calls and finding out which bank it was and that this guy actually had an account there, they froze his account and refunded my money, very lucky

That same tractor was listed in MN a couple weeks ago.

The out of season pics and low prices are all it takes for me to flag stuff now.

Amazon's got a scam going too. Low price like $400 on an expensive item, then instructions to email them to make sure it's still there or some other excuse to contact them outside the site's purview. It'll be a newly registered seller and not fulfilled by amazon.

What ever happened to making an honest living?

The only response to an add like this is .... If I pay $5k in cash, will you deliver with a valid title?

Of course tractors don't have titles, but his response would be telling. If he was legit, he would email proof of purchase and chain of ownership.

Here ya go - 3 of the bastards on one SKU!

Notice the legit sellers are over double the others.

Sometimes "Amazon - Warehouse Deals" has some killer prices like these on open box scratch and dents (I can confirm from personal experience they hire trained chimps to do order fulfillment), but it's sold directly from Amazon.

there are hundreds if not thousands of these in the Washington DC virginia CL. I could make flagging a full time job.
