Yearling... With promise
This tree has been on my Pappaws farm since he bought it in the 80s. I never asked what it was before he passed. It's always loaded and like to try to graft off it before we sell the farm.

It looks like it could possibly be a Myers Royal Limbertwig. That cultivar originated around Cades Cove in Tennessee.

Would help if you washed off the Sooty Blotch and other fungus and gave it a taste test.
