1st fruit

My Toka pear and Perry’s plum both have fruit on them this year for the first time. These are both from SLN and were planted spring of 15. I really noticed that my other SNL trees planted in 15 really shot up this year with their growth.

Seeing success is always pretty rewarding. Just a few years ago I had my first apples and just last year my first chestnuts. Putting in the work and being patient can be difficult at times, but when you see things start to show some real results there is a reason to take some pride in that. I hope they continue to do well for you and that should mean they should produce more and more over the next few years as well, so enjoy!

Nice job, Peeps. You've noticed the same thing some of the rest of us have - 3rd year is when things kick into gear. They look good. Each year should be a little better for amount of fruit. Keep up the good work !!
