I didn't find a thread for deals people find so I started a thread.
This is in SE Minnesota, I can't speak for function but the price and size fits us plotters. Looks to be in good shape and not to expensive if a guy wanted to try it.

Hi group,
Has anybody used any of the hunting services that help hunters apply, find and buy tags for western hunts? Services like Hunting Fool, Rolling Bones and Cabelas Tags.
A buddy and I have been collecting points in several states for quite a few years and have done several DIY/drop...
Hi Group,
I'm looking for recommendations on what to do with my apple tree order from SLN. I just got them today and unfortunately Minnesota is having a long winter and I would estimate I am 3 weeks away from being able to plant them.
Based on what I read I should probably toe them in at home...
I'm looking for information on how much moisture you save over a growing season by using no-till. I know it will vary widely but I'm wondering with my sandy soil how much I would gain.
I know there are other benefits but in a dry season I'd like to know how much of a difference It will make...
I had my placed limed today. I have to admit I cringed a bit when he drove over my corn and beans but I figure the deer won't care and I wanted to get it done. 12 Tons spread in about 30 minutes. With my sandy soil I figured it was a priority so I'm happy I got it done and have found a source...
I was at my place this weekend and got the opportunity to walk my foodplots and am astonished how much the deer are hitting my corn. I have 3 acres of corn and next to it 3 acres of soybeans and the deer are completely ignoring the soybeans and eating corn. This seams early to me. Is anybody...
Ok, John if this is inappropriate please pull it.
I am fairly new to online auctions but wanted to get you impressions if this is possible or not. I am bidding on a box blade that has the following bid history.

My apple trees have aluminum screen around them which is a pain to remove and then put back on. Could I just spray paint the south side of the screen rather than take it off? For the rest of the tree above the screen I can paint but would prefer not to remove the screen. Do you have to dilute...
I have a need for a box scraper to do some road and yard work. I want to level the roads on my place as many have a center hump from farm equipment. I also have a need to spread material in certain areas. Finally I need to level some areas in my yard where my mower is scalping.
I have been...
I found this looking for a flail mower. I see they have a few nice items, 4520, tiller etc. it's an auction so you never know on price but there could be a deal found.

Its getting to be that time of year and I would like to get a jump on trapping ladybugs. Every year they get into my buildings and make a mess.
Does anybody have recommendations on a trap that works well?
Thanks!
I wanted to share a PDF link regarding Switchgrass Field Trials. I found this to be a very good read as the trial areas provide the amount of rain fall and they tested 5 years. They also comment on geographic location and how far is reasonable for trying a variety that is far from its origin...
I am trying to remove the agitator from my Lely spreader and I am thinking I need a tool (puller of some type). I am trying to remove the top cap that slips over the end/top of the rod on this agitator. The cap is rusted and I have soaked it many times with WD 40 and tried a claw hammer and...
There has been a couple threads about apple grafts that are having failures after starting out successful. I am having the same experience (dried out buds, leaf curl and some dark edges on the leaves) and am wondering if the mistake I made was not keeping the humidity level high on my new...
I found this place on Craig's list in Carlton with $25 apple trees. Their Crabs are on standard rootstock and their apple trees are on M7.
I thought their price was good. The crabs they have are typical varieties but I might try them.

Does anybody know of a site or have an accurate list of apple trees and their zone ratings. I purchased my scion this year from Maple Valley and all were rated by Maple Valley for zone 3 but want to confirm the zone rating.
When I search the WEB for zone ratings I often get different results...
Every year I end up baking in the sun wearing regular jeans and think there has to be a better solution. Who makes a durable work pant that is cooler than jeans and if possible dries out quickly.
I am thinking a lighter color would be cooler and would get me away from blue which deer flies...
First, does anybody have a trusted website that will provide low temps for a location? The information I am getting from Minnesota’s DNR Climate site seems wrong. For example their website shows my area (zip 56361) had a low last winter of around -35 while the low this winter was -29. I did...
I’m helping my mother in-law get a new concrete driveway installed so I need to educate myself on what to look for and what to pay for a new driveway. I’m hoping there are a few guys who have had this done that can provide some help so I can get a decent deal for her.
Some information:
