Last Fall I bought some blueberry plants from a local nursery. They were in one gallon buckets. This stuff seems to have come along for a ride in the soil in those buckets. It's spreading throughout my garden. Not a big problem as it's easily pulled. But I sure would like to know what it is.

Regarding the planting rate. The 50 lbs. each of wheat and oats was way too much. I will reduce it to 25 lbs. of each this year. The soy beans were totally unnecessary and only included because a guy gave me a bag of seed. The deer cleaned the bean plants off before they reached six inches.

When you get too old and out of shape to be lifting deer onto the back of your ATV you get smart and build a meat wagon. And it's going to be mighty handy next year for hauling seed, lime and fertilizer.
