Any one going to the Expo on Saturday?

I don't want to talk about it! I have had plans to go down on Saturday for over 2 months, found out yesterday afternoon at 2:30 that I have to work. I don't feel as bad as I would have, since the neighbor I was going to take with me found out Monday that he had to work all weekend as well.:(:(:( In a perfect world I might have made it down Sunday instead, but we are having a late Easter get together with my wife's family that day.

Good show so far. Hope you make it TT. That stinks, Whip...I was really looking forward to meeting you. No BS, I remembered you saying you were coming and was wondering when I passed someone with a bunch of various hunting stickers on their truck on the way down if it was you.

I met 4 people I know off the forums that stuck around after the seminar to say hi. It's pretty cool putting a face to the name with you guys.

I plan on being there Steve.

I was going to but I have marking to do for the logger. Posting from the cabin here.

I have exactly zero hunting stickers on any of my vehicles, so couldn't have been me. Believe me Steve, no one is more disappointed than I am, I printed the show schedule and planned my whole day to make sure I was at your final seminar on Saturday afternoon and it was all for naught. We have a bid going out at 10am Monday morning that is around $12m, so it's all hands on deck to ensure we have our butt's covered on the project costs. I feel bad that my new hunter won't be able to go, but it was work this weekend and miss the deer show or work next weekend during his first ever turkey season.

I was in Wisconsin once. Very sandy soil from what I remember. Unfortunately too far for me to go to the show.

I'll be there tomorrow. Going to catch Steve's seminar and maybe Kurt Heid's and do the usual walk thru.

Looks interesting. To bad they never plan these things in a more central location. No desire to drive all the way to Madison for a day.

A buddy of mine is out there with a booth for his company....Triple Toe Calls. Check them out if you get the chance.

That sucks phil, I saw that company on the vendors list and was going to stop in their booth. I was also planning on stopping at the Mountainside Game Calls booth as well.

probably too late for anyone going, but, if you have a choice and are planning on attending 1 of my seminars today, go to the 2nd one. That's the last one of the day. So, I can actually cover the entire topic. the promoter was going to give me 90 mins to cover it, but forgot and only gave me 60 min slots. So, all the other ones I give are trying to cram 90 mins of topic into 60.

Went to his noon show did a great job. My son got a free book for helping him move a screen.

Unfortunately I couldn't catch Steve's seminar.

Really nice meeting a couple more of you today. Honestly, you guys are waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too good to me. I brought a box of books with, thinking I'd have plenty for both seminars. I sold out on the first seminar, got another box from the truck and sold half of them after the second one (and, because the seminars were so close together, there wasn't even 20% as many in the second one...The first one pretty much filled the big room). I really don't deserve it, but, man, I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate it.

On a side note, tomorrow's swan song is going to be bitter sweet, but it wasn't a coincidence that this is the show I wanted to do last. It's always been my favorite (with the old show at the MN fair grounds being a very close second, as it was the first I ever spoke at and the attendees there were always unbelievable good to me, as well). So, as much as I'm truly going to miss meeting hunters for all over the US and giving seminars really is a rush, I get to finish at home.
