My wife wanted to get out and have a look around the properties yesterday and I never need a reason for that so off we went.
I snapped a few pics of things I found interesting on our walk so I thought I would share.
Woods was logged a little over fifteen years ago, very big white oak stump.
A walnut that was veneer cut that someone made some money on.
One of the really big white oaks in the woods, the split trunk is what has saved this old giant. Turkeys roost in it often.
A white oak that I call the "Knee" . My wife thinks it's stupid to name a tree...I think it makes sense especially if I'm giving directions when I want help dragging a deer out.
My wife spotted this nice rub, started about a foot off the ground and went four and a half feet high all the way around.
Didn't find any sheds but did find a nice pile of flagstones I can use at the fire ring.
