Why inst there a focus on EHD?

Buddy picked up a 160’s buck in the creek yesterday in Tenn. His second one of the summer. We are still bone dry and hot. They are likely to start dropping like flies

we've lost 1 so far that we know of. We're on the north edge of all the ohio nonsense.

Seems like its everywhere in the midwest and some of the northeast now.....

Had a buddy pull a 160 out of a creek in middle Tenn this week. Heard of several dead in the piedmont region of Georgia too. Horrible year

There’s a lot of death around. I haven’t been able to nearly scratch the surface cause everything is so thick. Only saw one dead doe and she was still super fresh. I was mowing a field as the buzzards found her. Saw a doe standing in the creek the didn’t care anything about me 30’ away on my side by side. She ain’t long for it
The saving grace is we just had a phenomenal rain this am. Probably 1.5” and rain every day this week in the forecast. Hopefully this is over.

Edit-the buzzards in the pic are from something I can’t get to. Too thick. So no idea what’s dead there

Is the dark gray where it looks like hair is falling out one of the indicators?
