If that were around here, my money would be on goldenrod.

I’ll check it next time I’m there. Most of the goldenrod here is the giant type and much taller. But you definitely could be right.

I have a magic clover patch in my back yard I "planted" for no reason. It's stayed green and perfect all year the last 3 years. Full bloom bright green in January, February, even sticking out of the snow.
