Zone 7 , For reference the shipping box was 11x11x83 . I got this picture off their website , If I had to guess the trees couldn't have been more that 5 1/2 foot not counting the roots when I planted them.

Terry's a big ol maneater! Have to agree, his trees are doing very well for us.

Nice looking tree

All 10 of my whitetail crabs planted April 2023 are doing great. Here is a crossbow and a redfield that you can barely see in the back. Both pushing 10ft. Put some of them in 6ft tubes to see how they do. I am alittle nervous on how the branches will turn out in them. I may just let them grow wild from 5ft up and see what happens.

This a droptine that gets about 5-6hours of sunlight. Should probably go and open up the canopy some this winter. All of them are in crappy soil. About an inch or two of top soil then pretty much pure sand below them.

Here are a couple of my bigger WC today, around 15’+
They have had zero love and have been flat out beat up and raped by raccoons since they first started fruiting 7-8 years ago. First I’ve checked on them since spring.
Deer and game trails up to each one and around cages with all fruit under 6’ picked off.

This winter I’m going to clean up around all the fruit trees in that orchard with a skid steer brush cutter.
This is on the south side of woods/property where we live now so I’ll be able to take better care of this orchard from now on once it’s cleaned up.

^^^^You can see they #9 wire support left side on the DropTine I had to put on it from very heavy fruit loads cracking branches. I also trimmed it back really hard three years ago to help it grow through the problem.

Mine are doing good. Liberty are good growers. Enterprise had a slow 1st half of the year. Crossbow is a true monster. Maybe 4ft of growth. Trunk went from thumb size to as thick as a 2x4 in one year. I plamted her near my yard drainage ditch.

Terry was out of droptine in b118, so he sent me a few on antonovka. I am moving my non 2 legged edible trees to some fatmland i hunt. But, keeping. A dtoptine. Its going yo be a monster around b118s and m111s. Got thrm spaced 25x25.

Top pic is droptine on anty in a 6ft tall cage. Bottom2 are my crossbow on b118. 4ft cage on that one. Planted late november 2022. Terry doing fall orders is a good plus, especially for folks who suffer drought issues. Get some spring root growth.

Good guy to get trees from. Ordered a few from turkey creek, had more edible sauce cider crabs and my wife wants empire.

That'll be a deer paradise when the fruit starts dropping

That bottom Crossbow is beefy! They all look good.
I’ve got a few Crossbows out, I need to look them up and see how they are doing. Most of my early WC are planted in out of the way places and I usually only see them in spring when I am spot pruning.

Anybody purchsed Terry's Turkey Crab? Been tempted to order from him. He never got back to me in an email about what he had any anty though.

I put one in my order. Can't pass up a new (to me) variety.
