What is this white oak?

5 year old buck +
Found it In Carnation Washington.

Some green acorns are falling.

would they germinate if I pick them in a few days?

Based on the leaves and acorn stalk my guess would be English Oak. Not sure about germination, but if they're starting to fall, it's worth a try. They're from the white oak group, which generally are fairly easy to start.
