What is she eating?

Is this a fern? Could they be eating that crap? If so, we're sitting on a gold mine of forage.

Some type of vetch maybe? But it does look like a fern.

Deer eat ferns at my place, especially when they are the last green thing left.

She's a baby maker. Deer are worse than rabbits, they eat almost anything.
Look at how her ears are rotated different directions. They are constantly moving back and forth. When I used to study them a lot as reference for my taxidermy, I'd attempt to predict where they would turn their heads based on how they are moving their ears. There is a ball of various different muscles at the base of those ears, that make it possible to move them various ways. It's cool stuff
