What caused this buck's hair loss?

Here's a trail camera of a buck that is a potential shooter on my hit list. Do any of you have a good idea of what likely caused the patches of hair to be lost on his back? my thoughts were either:

1. from fighting with another buck
2. from crossing underneath fences'
3. from rubbing it on brush/branches as he walks through the thick cover
4. from disease

any idea and/or experience to give a good answer for what caused this?

thanks!

Here's the photos resized to make it easier for viewing on a smaller screen or slower internet connection if the larger photos are to big

They look like rubbed spots to me. Happens a lot with good racked bucks on the back of their lower neck and shoulders. The rub bare spots when working scrapes and such...Back side could be from crawling under stuff, like a barbed wire fence for example.

MPB
Male pattern baldness.

could have been hit by a car and thats road rash that removed it too!
could be from an old injury(car collision) and never grew back right ,
or from a gun shot or other wound?
