Yeah that’s what I’m torn with. Burning now to achieve desired plant response but risk erosion or burn in March and stimulate too many grasses but erosion won’t be a problem…
Not sure I could even get the disc to penetrate right now without burning

Dormant season disking could be really good. If your seedbed has the right stuff, you may not need to plant. Disking on left and planting on right. The left did have about a 8 month jump start on the planting side. It is starting to even out though. A spring burn after this did stimulate a lot of grasses.
