Wanted - DCO and Hazelnuts

I might take you up on that. I have some American hazelnuts that I have harvested from central Minnesota as well as some hybrids (European x American) that will start dropping over the next month or so. Any interest?

I likely don’t have anything to trade, unfortunately. If anyone has acorns of any kind, but DCO or sawtooth preferred, I’d gladly pay for them + shipping. I might get some Dunstan chestnuts off the two trees in my yard, but there aren’t many burrs this year.

I actually got some variety of white oak acorns today as well - happy to trade if anyone has interest. Still need to float test them though.

Some photos from behind my house of some DCO that first photo is of one that about 3 years ago stood about 5’ tall and had acorns this year is about 8’ tall and has a pretty good crop for such a small tree.

One of those photos is of a DCO in veterans park in Olathe KS across from Go Chicken Go good selection of diffrent oak in that small park also in a couple of those photos I tried to get the prickly pear cactus in the foreground these little trees grow in some very poor shallow soil locations.

I picked some sawtooth that are just starting to ripen. English need about another week.

Sawtooth acorns ( and chestnuts)have all fallen here in the last 2 weeks
