Variations in Burr oaks?

Every pic is a different tree. Are the variations likely genetic, or site differences?

To be honest, the amount of variation I see is minimal really. As far as what is causing it, I think that what you are seeing is just normal variation from the individual trees. All are burr oaks, that I'm guessing have some variation from seed, most likely what you see with apples from seed. Probably slight genetic differences based on the pollinator of the acorn that it grew from.

Thanks. Sexual reproduction provides lots of variety. Easy enough, just haven't looked at a lot of individual trees to notice the differences.
