Upgrade from Barret crossbow?

Anybody have one and go to a fancier one? Not sure what I am missing. Got a xp 370, maybe 3 years old. Mostly hunt AG field edges, so often it's only a 15-20 yard shot at best. Rifle blind to foodplot at home is 30 yards to the plot. Plots is another 50 yards deep, so a 50-60 yard shot is a possiblity there. Favorite treestand at camp can see a 30-40 yard shot tops. Likely a 10-20 one.

I started with a Barnett before upgrading to a Killer Instinct. The Barnett was terribly loud and had a horrible trigger pull. The Killer Instinct is much better on both accounts, at 1/3 price of the Ravins. It's super accurate out farther than I would ever shoot a deer.

The R10 Ravin is hard to beat for price and accuracy. It is far cheaper than the newer crossbow models and shoots more accurate than some guns.

See what the end of season deals are. I am ok with my barret, but oldest kid might want a crossbow to borrow. like for decade or two,

There are always great Black Friday sales. We use Mission Sub-1's for the NDA field to folks hunts and Ten Point Turbo 1's for the senior deer hunts. Both have served well under high use conditions. Both allow novice hunters 1" groups at 30 yards and can easily to 1" at 40 yards for most users.
