Maya-I appreciate that reference. I need to read it about 6 more times.
It looks like a banner year for apples, barring late spring frosts.

What can I do to get some apples next year?

The reference has some information about converting some growth to next year's fruit buds. How do we do that?

Thin apples? Summer prune?

Thank you. I suspect he bad winter of two years back reduced fruit buds for last year and a banner year this year-maybe....

Does it work to thin a few select limbs since I cannot reach large parts of some of my trees?

In other words, if you think one large limb, will it respond with more apples on that limb the next year?
