Stock Market is the bottom in?

CVX has been ok but Exxon has been killing it the last 5 yrs coming out of the Covid slump. But you know the saying. Past performance does not indicate future blah, blah, blah

Good 'ol JP screwed the markets again. Should be back to normal by tomorrow morning I would think due to the majority of the people having the attention span of a flea. jmho

Guys pumping quarters in the game, or waiting for more blood in the water.

Anybody take any interest in bitcoin? I watch it.

Might be internet BS. But they say US has humanoid robots on the ground in Iran? IF true, who's are they.

Anybody recommend a book for an average joe to read on investing, taxes, side hustles etc...

Jim Cramer keeps pushing his book "how to make money in any market". I don't own it.

SPOT is on sale down $28 a share after posting it's best year to date. Already climbing back up. Markets haven't made sense for years now. Numbers mean nothing anymore,it just seems to be a popularity contest. More investors than ever and a very large percentage should using a broker instead of buying stocks because they like the name. jmo

Gold now cheap, ot still overpriced?

Wondering what to do with CEF.

Just keep buying. (nibbles, not big bites)
I bought some more VTI and VXUS today.
10 years from now it will seem like a good price ( I think)
30 years from now it will have been a good price (almost certain and my "heirs" will appreciate it, those spoiled rascals, JK)

I grabbed another wagon load of SPPP and CEF today. We’re printing $18 billion dollars a day in phantom money.

Not sure I made the best move, but made some money with palantir. Bought some more amazon, SCHD, and put a bit into CEF.

Bought sprott's METL a week early. Tanking 12%. Mining is energy heavy....

Feeling a bit clueless, probably decent time to put some into cheap ETF's. MGK, VXUS, and EWY south korea.

Who is getting rich off this oil spike? I’m not talking guys like us buying some shares of chevron or whatever, I’m talking like generational wealth creation. Literally no way “closing” the strait has caused this exaggeration of pricing. Mideast camel humpers? This administration? Some group(s) are absolutely making the prices run.

It can. A few million barrels a day come through there.

Maybe they are slow getting the reserve moving. I'm not sure what's going on with it this week.

Threw some money at SMCI after the price dropped 30% due to a chip smuggling ordeal by some people at the company. Company should be fine I think but the smugglers probably won't be. Rolling the dice.

Investing: anything by John Bogle.

FWIW, I'm a Ben Graham disciple.

The Millionaire Next Door is a must-read classic.

It absolutely can. Markets can be moved bigly, depending on the commodity, even for relatively modest supply disruptions. True with commodities of all types. It is the nature of markets.
