Stock Market is the bottom in?

Yea, I feel pretty good about buying my first US gold coins at $280 an ounce and US silver coins at 3 to 1. I've been around a while.

Really not all that long ago for gold to be below $300. 25 yrs or so ago in the waning days of the dot com bubble. Prior to that it bounced around $400/oz for much of the 90s.

I should probably sell some stuff. These rocket peaks never seem to sustain for very long and trend down just as fast as up. Of course the FOMO is how high does it go like a meme stock before a stumble.

I traded ROLR this morning. It came out of nowhere, hit the scanner, and just took off. It was one of those unicorn events you wait months for. One expert trader I follow made almost 100k off it today.

for me it's not the FOMO - it's the fear of what if shit goes down and the dollar all of a sudden takes a back seat. If I didn't have that fear, i'd think Id have sold some or all of what little I have and cash out and then buy if/when it crashes back down.

I'm a firm believer that if the shit REALLY hits the fan then guns and ammo will have all of the value. If you those then you an acquire anything else. jmho

Thanks. I actually traded the premarket session. That first big move happened in just a couple minutes. After the bell it was really choppy and hard to trade, but there were a few good scalps if you were zoned in. I didn't have the guts to let it ride, and my nerves were pretty frazzled after a couple hours watching the chart, so I shut down my laptop and went to the shooting range to calm down.

ALways be a better deal somemwhere, as long as your deal is good. Gold gets way too high, we got bigger problems.

Any wildcards anybody is sitting on low? Wondering which way lithium Argentina is going to roll with things going on. Had it since it came out in 2023. Betting on water in the long run too. Desalination combined with rare mineral mining. ecolab, xylem. At least got some dividends.
