Stock Market is the bottom in?

Warren Buffett (Berkshire) is buying SiriusXM stock like no tomorrow ! They 37% of the company now .

Not sure what their plan is ? Possibly buy it all ?
I saw they just cancelled Howard Stern's contract. Maybe expecting big things with all of the money they'll have to spend on other stations? I've robbed them blind forever. When they first came out they offered lifetime subscriptions. I bought one for $500 around 2006 and have had it ever since.

That reminds me, I have to cancel my SiriusXM subscription this month before it goes up to regular price. Hopefully I don't have to listen to radio too long before they offer me the $5 a month deal again!

Just call them and re-negotiate your monthly charge . I think I’m at $9-10/month & I can get it in my boat as well .

Waiting for a sale on something, although I can’t complain about everything going up

Gonna repeat this again. Do not worry about "overpaying" for a great company with a great product. Sure the price will fluctuate a bit.....but if you own a great company.....at the end of the day you will be happy regardless of paying a bit more at times. dollar cost averaging is you freind.

Agreed, and I typically do that. But I am keeping a little cash on the sidelines for buying opportunities. Like plntr at 158, right when they announced the government contract, now 178.

Intel is going to be one to watch this week and try to guess what the bottom will be.
Money to be made there.

Yeah...my gamble on them a couple of weeks ago isn't looking to good! We'll see what happens...I may have to buy a little more in the dip of the dip 🤣

I would say it will be close to when a new CEO gets chosen. If that CEO gets the DC blessing ....buy big!

I did some shopping this morning. I got 100 shares of SNAP at $7.70. I got 25 shares of Fortinet at $72 and I got 500 shares of Ichor Holdings at $15.85. Saw a report this morning that Debbie Wasserman Schultz has bought into Ichor so I sprinted from the bathroom into my office to buy. This unity party snake does just about as good in the market as Nasty Nancy and Poopy Paul Pelosi. It jumped very quickly this morning on the news that she bought. I got my inside info from Quiver Quantitative on Twitter.

Nothing like Cleo Fields dropping $ millions into tech!

Just being a ornery devil, I imagine many folks visiting this site drive "Silverado" or "F150s" trucks and believe they are reasonably good products. Some closet "greenies" might be pushing Tesla trucks!
If you dollar-cost-averaging bought 100 shares of either GM / Ford during each of the first 5 (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) of the last 10 years (and held them), what would your investment be worth today. You do the math. Yes, the stock market does - over the long run - appear to always go up (otherwise folks would probably buy real estate or bury their dough in a can in the back yard); however, a rising tide doesn't always raise all boats (research the highly controversial trickle-down economics arguments).
Overall, I would pretty much agree with foggy ... as long as the company is sound in fundamentals, led by creative and intelligent managers, and not at the apex of its share-price history with P/ERs in the stratosphere. NO, I wouldn't buy PLTR today, or probably anytime in the near future .... unless, I was a dipper-flipper and the share price had dropped 30%. But, I ain't a D-F'er ... I lean Fioggy's way.

P.S. I did take a flyer (a dipper) on Chrysler at at under $2 many moons ago and made good bucks when selling it in the 80's Even though you can't buy Chrysler stock now, its parent company Stallantis is right there with Ford at $10/change.
