Stock Market is the bottom in?

Just bought 1/2 a share of mecabolibra.

South American Amazon.

These market forecasts I’m hearing lately is making me think about what Buffet said about being fearful when fear is not in vogue.

Consider putting some money in Constellation Energy Corp. CEG and Talen Energy Corp. TLN. Both are nuclear energy providers looking to build new reactors to help power all these AI data centers.
I mentioned the future for some new nukes pages ago. Some will be the big ones like those already in service, but likely more new ones will be site / client-specific smaller reactors. I worked on several nukes in my career, along with some gas-fired plants, and retro-fitting a coal-fired plant with pollution mitigation systems. (That coal plant is now shuttered & closed.)

There are some good sector mutual funds that hold utilities that have recently put new nukes online, and have plans to add more. My research shows that a number of funds hold Southern, Duke, Constellation, (those 3 in particular), American Electric Power, Exelon, First Energy, etc.

Everything runs on electricity, and AI systems will only add to the demand.

Idk, seems to be at a high….buy low sell high! But maybe this is just the start of its climb

I have to say I’m pretty happy with the market. I’m definitely ready to see Tech stocks really take off again.
Also surprised to see a few of the foreign markets like S Korea and China out preforming the US market. I’ve been shy of foreign markets and may need to invest some that direction.
Lots of opportunities out there right now.

Talk of NVDA possibly splitting again sounds great.
I’m sure glad I rode out the tariff dip and am pretty positive on what the rest of the year will do long term.

I need to start doing some day trading for fun.

I sold a couple of things today. Not much though, just wanted to take smaller losses or advantage of some gains on stocks that dont pay dividends.

UAN fertilizer is forecasted to pay out nice distributions for 2025 & 26. The prediction is $12-15 on an $89 stock .
There is also a chance they will be bought out, so some guys I know are buying the stock !

I like it more at $75-80 but I doubt it goes back there ? But who knows …

Now I have to try and figure out what will go up from the "big beautiful bill". Sift through all the bull shit to try to get some facts and go from there I suppose.

I would avoid anything interest rate sensitive. Doubt the fed will be able to cut after all this spending in the bill. So anything construction related or small to mid cap is probably a no go. The mega monsters will probably fair good enough.

In my opinion WOLF is going to be in a good position for a short squeeze if the company makes a strong come back and the shorts don't get out. Just my opinion. I'm going in.

Bought some too! I’ll bill you if it fails!

My head isn’t in the game right now. I’m sitting on cash, but it’s true that it’s hard to do nothing.

Rooting for you guys right now, it may be next year before I get back in this deal.

The first year of a new presidents term is a great time to be in the market. That drops off about 70% in the second year. I believe that's been accurate for 90% of the presidents of the last 100 years. Predictions for the market to "crash" are saying March 16th of next year. Are they right? I don't know. Will people panic and make it come true? Probably. jmho

Your numbers look to be dead on.

Said another way- the off presidential years have been great buying opportunities. October of '22 specifically. My retirement account very has always been very agressive. Rode the good and the bad and contributed since 1997 and never messed with it.

Being close to a true retirement, I have taken this rally as an opportunity to diversify. I also moved 20% to a money market type fund. I'm still capturing gains to a lesser extent but I also have more options. Kinda thinking safety but also looking for accumulating some new money for a buying opportunity.

I missed on nvda. That is a great company. I It's only going up and isn't showing the volitility it did on past gains. was kinda betting on that and looks like i screwed up! My cost basis was $67 so I did pretty good. I'm just going to sit on that money until I see something I feel really good about, even if thats 14, 15, 16 months from now. Either way, I owned way too much nvda. If I got out too early, so be it.
