I lean that Trumps budget plan is way to yet more expose the rotten nature of our system. I think by the summer of '26 for our 250th, things will look much more prosperous.

I just have that 'gut' feeling that there's more to celebrate than 250 years. Though that is a big deal, I think that time is marked for other good things. On what do you base your optimism for this specific time frame?
I pulled the trigger and sold half of what I had at 120%.QBTS is still running up. From what I can tell this is due to good earnings.
Nothing wrong with profit! Keep an eye on it and maybe catch it when it's back down. I'm planning on buying some of it around $6 or $7. I think it will come back to a realistic price in a month. jmoI pulled the trigger and sold half of what I had at 120%.
Ya that's what happened the last time it shot up. I bought back in around $7Nothing wrong with profit! Keep an eye on it and maybe catch it when it's back down. I'm planning on buying some of it around $6 or $7. I think it will come back to a realistic price in a month. jmo
Be great if it keeps following that pattern. As long as a guy is on the right side of the ups and downs that is.Ya that's what happened the last time it shot up. I bought back in around $7
That’s a narrow view on what makes an economy. Not even North Korea only buys domestically. If individuals want to buy domestic, that’s awesome. But we know on a macro level most people want or have to buy with price in mind. Due to efficiencies, a lot of time imports are cheaper, good or bad. Additionally, good luck. Almost everything, save some locally grown food products, source part or all their good(s) from overseas. Polaris side by sides for example…assembled in the US, with Chinese parts
I agree about the manipulation and the need to decouple from China. But regardless I think our labor laws and demands/entitlements are still too restrictive to sell goods competitively when comparing it to other markets. Those other countries simply don’t care about what we care about…and honestly we benefit as a result. I’d argue the American consumer wins when some third world hell hole pays its people $3 a day and has them work in a mine with no ppe. Is it right, idk I’m not the one that’s gonna be doing the judging when it’s all said and done.China has held the value of their currency down for decades in order to flood the world with cheap exports. If they stop their currency manipulation, you might have a reasonable argument. However, if their unfair policies are part of the reason manufacturing jobs left America for China, our government is justified in correcting the unfair imbalance. They should have done it 30 years ago, would have been a lot less pain for Americans.
There is an enormous amount of activity in the options on UNH right now. You can go out 10% either side of the market price right now and get paid 1% on an option for a 2 week period. It seems darn attractive at a 12 PE. You can't get anything quality for that low of a multiple anymore.UnitedHealth stock, is anyone buying here ?

LOL, this made my day, I can admit when someone is smarter than me, SD has me.
I'm sitting on a pile of it. Been an interesting ride down. Thankfully I got others to balance the effects. Still sitting on a huge profit....as it's been one of my best gainers over many years.UnitedHealth stock, is anyone buying here ?
