Been doing a deeper dive into the China economy tonight. Not certain 100% of this is factual....but he makes a good case. Take a listen.

 
Berkshire Hathaway is the company Buffet runs. The company won't be sold. His family will still retain many shares of Berkshire, and some will be given to charity, according to his past statements. Buffet, Bill Gates, and several other billionaires have pledged to give much of their wealth to charities of various types and causes - many fighting diseases, and climate change.

Greg Abel and Ted Wechsler (sp?) will run Berkshire after Buffet steps down. That's been planned for a while now.

I understand the structure. It would be of personal disappointment if he gives it all to “let them eat bugs” Bill Gates !

Not a fan, at what he put his money and other donations towards ! Just my opinion.

I hope the family can buy an island with a Lodge, a pool & a Tiki bar and enjoy the great ride that Warren gave them ! Well that’s what I would do anyway … 🍻

To live a life not monetarily stressed to that level would be an amazing ride.

I would also add giving a bunch to charity is just weird to me, I don't understand it. Yep medical science research is great, there are some real charities with genuine purposes out there I understand.

I just can't fathom not furthering the next generation and teaching them how to keep it. Nuts.
 
Glad I sold all my PLTR yesterday. The price started to get weird after the closing bell, so I bailed. Have been shorting it all morning, but now I'm buying my position back slowly. Unbelievable how irrational people can be. I will probably only buy back half my position and use the rest to fund a trading account with another broker.
 
Anyone want to form a 501c3 and get Warren to donate to it when he calls it quits? I mean if they want to give it away.

Buffet isn't giving his money to Gates. Buffet, Gates, and a number of other ultra-rich people have pledged to give much of their fortunes away to charitable causes. None of them will leave their families destitute & struggling - make no mistake. Buffet has long said his family's money will go into an S&P 500 index to perpetuate his family's needs. He's had his plan in place for years. I think they'll be OK ......

Gates has used a good amount of his money to eradicate treatable / curable diseases in 3rd world countries, and provide clean, safe drinking water in places that have none - or very little. Helping others in need - a good use of his money, in my book.

We are very opposite politically, Gates forced vaccination ideas are terrible. Long list of strange idea he has on vaccines..

The Pfizer & Moderna vaccines had severe side effects & deaths . I know 2 family members and multiple friends/family dealing with side effects and early deaths (due to the vaccine)!

Have you heard about turbo cancers ? If not, read up on it . It’s not on CNN . It’s unbelievable, & I’m seeing it in my area .

Bill Gates has also pushed lab grown meat, he wants to end the beef industry .

Today it's breaking loose on ASST. Halted more than it's been functioning. Some news about tik tok joining with ASST about using bitcoin is what I'm seeing. Was up around 260% a little bit ago. Still under $2.50 a share. Threw a little at it just to see where it goes from here. Could be big, could a bust. jmo
 
A couple stocks doing really well … Casey’s & Altria !

A sleeper I’m looking at First National Bank of Alaska. Many analysts claim it’s the best run bank in the US. I almost bought at $195 … it is up over $240.

Pays a 6% dividend ! $4 every quarter .
 
I have some stocks that I try not to touch and let them go long term but then there's roughly half of my stuff I'm always looking to take a little profit and buy something "on sale". Sometimes the juggling works and sometimes it doesn't. I just don't have the patience/discipline to just sock 100% away and leave it alone. I have an account for my grandkids,wife,and one for my daughter that I manage right now but I only "gamble" with my own account.
 
I don’t hardly ever turn over my portfolio. Most holdings of mine stay put for years. I’m of the mindset that if it’s a good company, the market will eventually get the price right.

Also, when the shit hits the fan, you don’t wanna be holding meme and penny stocks.

Not sure if it’s been shared here but the book “the intelligent investor” by Benjamin Graham - is fantastic. If I recall Ben was Warren buffets mentor and teacher in college. Really sound book on evaluation, stocks over time, etc.

Don't have much of that one right now. The more they talk about the future of AI then you start getting all AI prospects and then the quantum starts taking off along with it. IONQ,RGTI,QBTS,QUBT all usually move together lately. Quantum will be huge but they just can't pin down the time frame on when. Some say soon and some are saying 10+ years before it's a part of daily life. Long term should be fantastic. jmho
