I agreeBuy these dips ! I see a 3-4 yr double on a few of these stocks !
Oh no! @bwoods11 will not be happy about that!
No expert but there always seems to be a double dip before things settle out. You should be good.oof I went all in yesterday thinking it was going to take off. guess i'm riding this out now
Should be better now. At least for a short time...oof I went all in yesterday thinking it was going to take off. guess i'm riding this out now
Do most people really want this kind of volatility with their 401-K's, college funds, IRA's, etc.?? I have to think not. I'm just glad I made a move back in early January. Much less volatility for us. Still have some in the game for any upward trends ....... should they appear with any longevity.
Because so-called "American" companies have moved overseas for dirt-cheap labor. Many of the cutting-edge companies that used to be here in the U.S.A. have moved operations to foreign countries for the afore-mentioned reason. And once those computer-driven machines were on other soil, did we really think they wouldn't steal the technology??? Years ago, I worked in a factory where they made aircraft engines, with sophisticated machinery. The companies that made those machines are offshore now, and the flood / race offshore was begun under Ronnie Reagan. He made a nationally-broadcast speech to the nation where he said, "We're going to change our economy from a manufacturing-based economy to a service-based economy." Deals were made by the Republicans in charge at that time to eliminate a lot of red tape that made it easier to set up shop in other countries for the dirt-cheap labor there.Maybe you can explain to me why most of the robotics used on assembly lines in this country are from Asian countries. Can we not make them here or maybe we don't want to?
How about the CNC machining centers to make those robots? Why are they made in Asian countries?
When I built my cabin eight years ago I bought a new circular saw, framing nailer, air compressor, and SCMS. None of them made in the USA. Assembled here maybe but not of American made components. Why not? Because we can't compete.
But let me guess you are now AGAINST tariffs ? Because it’s Trump !Because so-called "American" companies have moved overseas for dirt-cheap labor. People can claim all they want - but I watched it happen under Ronnie Reagan's watch. with Congressional republicans' help with the bills in congress that made it happen. Reagan championed a "globalization" of the economy ....... at the pushing of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce .... because those businesses wanted to shop the world for the cheapest labor. Sorry to all that believe it wasn't the Republican Party that shoved this on us here in the U.S.A. Facts are sometimes painful. I lived all of it - and watched it happen in real time. Some here aren't old enough to know the facts for real. Everything used to be made here - but that stopped when Ronnie Reagan sided with big business instead of the American workers. That's when I stopped voting strictly Republican - and why. They F-ed American workers over big-time.
Yeah volatility has never been associated with the stock market. Hahahahahahahahahaha.Do most people really want this kind of volatility with their 401-K's, college funds, IRA's, etc.??
