Stock Market is the bottom in?

According to the news, he's not looking to fill orders for Stinger missiles for Ukraine. He's looking to overhaul the entire military with AI and drones. Look at the companies that will build the new military, not the old military. And look who he is hanging out with. You think they don't have a grand plan? Holy shit do they have a plan. We are a few weeks into a world-changing term. Stay limber, and stay frosty.

I agree 100%. Ever hear of a company called Anduril?? SpaceX, Palantir and Anduril will be 3 of the top 5 defense contractors going forward. Anduril is not a publicly traded company yet, neither is SpaceX. I think eventually they will be. I would like to invest in Anduril now, but I dont think there is room for a peasant like me. Anduril is lead by a real young guy named Palmer Luckey. He looks like a real character. Lots of hype for this company and what they are doing in regards to reshaping the modern military.

One of my predictions for the current administration is they will be bombing cartel sites inside Mexico using AI and a massive fleet of drones.

Imagine a $50-100k drone vs $10 million dollar tanks. Not to mention the drones can be flown from 5,000 miles away. The next war will be fought with new stuff, not the old crap they have already spent trillions on.

If I'm being honest, I think it's mighty righteous of Nancy Pelosi to share her trades with us so timely. I think I will drop a grand on her recommendations and see how it goes.

She bought a shit ton of TEM a few weeks ago. Well before the AI business deal announcement.

Looks like by your previous post with PLTR you buy & sell quickly for small gains but look to consistently build capital. Do you always do it that way, just take your small gains, rinse/repeat constantly on whichever stock?

Did you make the TEM trade?

I was willing to let PLTR go until it made me money. I was 100% certain it would make me money. It took about 2 minutes. I have been buying PLTR since it was 60$. It is a rock-solid stock, in my opinion. I own a bunch of it. I also keep a lot of cash, "just in case". I didn't mind throwing some cash at PLTR just to show I could scalp some money off it. I made about 60$ in a few minutes, but it could have taken longer, and it could have been more money. I was just showing my confidence in the stock. I am still confident in PLTR. My strategy I have decided to make private. I think I was a bit brash, and I don't want to be like that.

My view on defense stocks is much like agriculture. Any thing subsidized by the government has a hard time realizing big margins.

PLTR is not subsidized by the govt. The govt is begging PLTR to solve its problems. Do I have to drop another dime on this stock just to show people it is legit?

Well, the market is closed, apparently. I'm sitting here in Saigon sweating my nurts off. I'll be back to debate the virtues of PLTR tomorrow.

I own a position in PLTR. I dunno why U think I’m winding u up.

I ain’t.

Regards
John

I would agree about PLTR and the government propping it up. A couple more that the government is helping to succeed for some reason are INTC and F. Several pharma companies were benefiting from government also one way or another but I don't know if pharma gonna see much love from the government for a few years. BA, LMT and RTX would belong in this category as well. This is all just my opinion and could be completely wrong.

Dude, you got into a war stock when the most anti-war president took office?
There may be peace between russia and ukraine soon, but don't forget that other little country that has a blank check from us to bomb anyone and everyone that touches their borders, and nobody has shown any will to stop them. So odds are good the land grab continues.

Gaza has taken more ordinance in the first two years of it's cleansing than all allied forces dropped on iraq and afghanistan from 9/11 to when biden made the taliban the 5th largest military in the world.

I mentioned Anduril yesterday as a key defense contractor going forward. Sounds like they scored themselves a big win.

My bad. It was late at night and I was wound up already from a long day. Apologies.

Tesla ?

U gonna get some on this dip?

Now...when's the IPO?!
Idk then, I’ve seen a lot of iPos lose money shortly after coming on the market
The really big money is made before the IPO's, when private "vetted", very high net-worth people get first dibs at the really promising start-ups. Avg. folks will not be allowed to invest before the IPO unless you're in a certain category of wealth ....... in case no one here knew that. There are strict financial criteria one has to meet to get in that early. The really big $$$$$$$$ is made by those selected folks. Just how it is.

We get to play when the important people tell us it's alright. Typical

Of course we're already conditioned to them taking 1/3 of our money every week. The government is our pimp. jmo

I don’t understand Biogen? It’s projected to earn over $16 a share, but only trades at $131.50 ?
