Still holding his rack

Pulled my camera card this weekend and this buck still had his antlers on March 30.

He has decided to keep them! He likes those and isn't willing to trade them in for a new set!!!!

Some antlers must be like baby teeth, they don't come off until the next one pushes it off.

I've read some stories where they are not shed for some reason. I would have to go back and read the article again but I think they stay in velvet and the second years growth was just added on to form a crazy rack.
