I picked up a couple of these from Bolu Tree Nursery for this fall. They just came yesterday. White x Chinkapin cross.
What pretty little leaves!
Anyone else have this hybrid?

We have a bur-chinkapin cross (Quercus macrocarpa) X Quercus muehlenbergii) and a swamp white oak - chinkapin cross (Quercus bicolor X Q. muehlenbergii F2)

Those sound interesting. Have any been stand-outs for growth rate and nut production?

They ain't old enough; however, I'm hopeful for the bur-chink cross. I'm partial to anything crossed with a bur, especially if it shows an affinity for the bur parent (acorn size does matter for habitat trees!)
