Brian curious why your third test is lower in OM.

I can't answer that. Same probe took the soil sample, same CRP was previously planted there for over a decade. One sample (from my second post) was from the north end of the field and one sample was from the south end of the same field.

No, but it'd work better and faster if it was. I'd put half on and till it in, and half on top after that. I don't have means to work mine in, so it all goes on top.

SD I was at my fields today. Half inch of rain in 7 weeks I have 300 pounds of rye broadcasted on top I told you about. When looking today I noticed a rye seed with a red color coming out. I can get you a picture tomorrow. Please tell me if that means the 300 pounds will be a bust or possibly getting ready to germinate

I’m not sure what that would mean. You may want to do a rescue seeding just in case.

Yes. Ammonium sulfate, 21-0-0-24(s). Elemental sulfur, sulfate of potash (K2SO4), and a few other fertilizers.
