I am replanting some parts of my food plot this fall with either ladino or durana clover. How many pounds per acre cereal/winter rye should I plant with it? thanks!

I usually plant rye 60-80#/acre.

I usually plant rye 60-80#/acre.

I am about the same rate .. about 1.5 bushels per acre. The nice thing about using winter rye versus other grains is that as the clover goes dormant with the cold weather, WR will germinate and grow in temps as low as 32 F. Still a great green food source after heavy frosts.

I plant at 75-100# per acre and it still doesn’t get at thick as some people’s fields. I don’t have great soil though with lots of deer for the area

60-80#/acre here in the U.P. of Michigan too.

I've used 60 to 100 lbs/ac with good success. Planting on the heavier end provides more weed control, but timely mowing to release the clover the first spring is more critical.
