Security door?

Anyone put something like this on their camp/house?

Not that I need one, just for more of a “what if” situation. Or am I paranoid?
If someone wants to get in, now they have to throw a rock through the window.

Yeah, I’m always tempted to just leave my doors unlocked so they don’t break any windows if they wanna get in

That's my methodology. 9 times out of 10 the crap a burglar steals is of less value than the damage they do to a door getting in. Seen it a million times...

I understand, but I guess I am talking more of a second house than a camp. Some nice stuff I wouldn’t necessarily want to part with (not terribly valuable). But I was also thinking about if things get “rough”. And maybe I listen to the news too much. But also, if we are actually there at the house if things go south. But again, I’m probably just over thinking things.

Don’t know if it’s true or not but “they say” cameras and a dog are the two biggest deterrents.

I also like a 357 handy……

MAke the windows are visible and nothing of value can be seen. Gun safes bad.

Storage shed with tools, tractors, or atvs are probably the main target. Block your ATV with your tractor. Often atv's are just rolled onto a truck bed.

Adirondack camps, often the generator is the only thing stolen. Lock the doors but leave the window unlocked. They realy want it they slide it open.

If they want in bad enough to break a normal door, that won't stop them either. It might slow them down for an extra minute or two but it's not stopping anyone who's motivated to get in.
