Sealing a brown treated deck

I have a brown pressure treated deck that is a year old. I would like to preserve/treat/seal the deck boards. Does anyone have any suggestions a good sealer? Or what to use?

We went with PPG proluxe. Relatively happy.

I went through the whole range of products from the big box stores and none of them held up very long. The best thing I found was a finish that they put on log homes. It far outlasted anything else. i used Outlast Q8 log oil from logfinnish.com. It had several different shades and lasted forever on vertical surfaces. Good for at least 5 years on the flat stuff.

I had heard of stuff for log homes, I didn’t know any names of the stuff. I wilmm lol look into it.

I wonder if a silicate based concrete sealer would work idk might be worth a little research.

Great luck with Sherwan Williams deckscapes
