Prolific plums

Telemark

5 year old buck +
Got a tip from my mother in law about some plum trees that were carpeting the ground with fruit. They're not great for eating, but they should be good for jams and sauces. Anyone have some recipes to share?

Wow yum! Those look great for eating to me?!?! We have the very small ones with a sweet flesh but a thick bitter skin. Yours look much larger from what I can see. They make great jam. I can find any on the ground at my farm as the deer and critters get them ASAP

These are at a nursing home in Norway, so only a few magpies to bother the fruit. There's also a Dolgo apple tree and a bunch of Aronia berry bushes.

I got about 20 lbs. of plums, and I will probably go back in a week.
