Pretty good first pull

Pulled cards and got some pretty good looking bucks already. Nothing ginormous but should have a few shooters around this fall. Hopefully some of the bigger bucks start showing up.
I will say I'm extremely happy to see the bucks using this small clover plot. We have been trying for the past 4 years to get a good clover plot established here and finally it looks like we have one.

i'd say thats a pretty good card pull for this time of year for sure. was it you that had a buck you called the "general" that was a really old one? any signs of him still around?

Nice. I really like that third pic of him out in the middle of the clover.

Yeah we do have a buck called The General around. He made it through gun season and was around all winter. As far as I know he is alive and well and should be at least 10.5 years old this year. We used to get pictures of him during the summer but the last 2 or 3 years he has only shown up during the fall. I believe his summer range has shrunk so much he doesn't make it onto our land during summer. If he does show up he will be #1 on the hitlist no matter how big his rack is.
