Prairie grass seeds

5 year old buck +
So after hunting my buddies prairie grass area on opening weekend of pheasants, went and collected some seed from big blue stem and indian grass. The indian grass is pretty easy to deal with but the BBS is kinda a pain. Any good ways to help break the seeds up besides rolling and sifting thru your fingers multiple times while picking out the stems. I only had 1/4 walmart bag size of each before processing but maybe next time I can get some tips on an easier method.

When I put mine in I spent almost a day on 5 large garbage bags.
Good things don't come easy but it would be nice. Still beats planting trees

Got the tree planting mostly done already except for crabapples. Always need more crabapples. Just thinkn might try a little variety for the areas they died off from, that was a bad dry dry summer for plantn. It's a freebie besides, just wondering what guys might have come up with when they have 5 garbage bags worth....or more

15 acres planted twice because I thought the seed was junk the first year
