Took a pic of this guy yesterday afternoon. And since there were zero shots heard, he made it. Just a standard 90" 2.5 yr old 8. 4 gun seasons to go. Thanks Illinois you pos

I put another cell cam in the yard before I left camp. Come spring I'll put it in the woods, but for now I just wanted to use it to monitor snow conditions. Tonight three deer standing out there. No wonder I'm not getting any pics of deer in the woods. lol

That 7x6. What was your big guy again from last yr? Wasn't he something like that in configuration anyway? Same farm or a son or him diminished? I just can't recall exactly what he looked like.

Gun season is a week and a half away yet, just how I like it. The bucks will be done wandering by then.

I think this is an offspring of a different buck that I shot. Just a hunch, but very similar genetics .

I did not. I cut hair Sunday am on an old 8. I don’t have any shooters left so I’m setting my sights on older bucks that will never be true giants.
