Plum rootstock

Im looking at adding some plums to my property. Ideally I would like to be able to graft NY9 or similar late summer/early fall variety. What rootstock would be good for that? It seems not all plums are the same and I have zero experience.

We have had good luck with Myrobalan, can't speak to that particular plum variety.
