GRIN does have pitsmaston x 692 - I ordered some not sure what difference between the x692 and the standard is but I figured it must be some sort of improvement

You'll have to help me out because the only 'pitmaston' i find is a Pitmaston Duchess which is a pear. What is the PL #?

I wonder why it doesn't come up when you search pitmaston, pineapple, or pitmaston pineapple, that could have saved a headache. LOL

I've wanted to add pitmaston since I saw it in Hoyt Adair' s catalog from the early 90's. Doubt I have anything you don't have any of the varieties I have, but I do have a few odd southern apples.
