Pears are darn near freeze proof!

Yet another spring that we got a hard freeze while the pear trees were in full bloom and the low temps and frost didn't phase them. They have thousands of tiny pears developing.
These are Trophy pears from Ed Fort.
This 1st pic was taken the day after a 24 degree night.
