Orchard and Farm aerial

Let's see the video !!!!
Oh man, that would require downloading it to YouTube or something. That's asking a lot! :)
Is there another way to download video here (besides youtube)?

Another nice morning so I grabbed the kid's drone and took a video of the place. It starts facing the lake, first stop is the hilltop that our place is on (you can see the wheat, bean, and corn fields in the background... as well as the large creek that borders the place), second stop is our foodplots and tree plantings, and then it goes back to the lake and me trying to figure out how to land the damn thing.

That was really cool!

Work for United Technologies, one big conglomerate that makes everything from air conditioners to jet engines. L3 like many others in Aerospace is both a customer and a supplier to us. Someday hope to spend more time "farming" then working.
Know them well and yes much more fun to farm rather than work for sure. 3 years retired next week :)

Did an update video of my upper orchard here at my farm. covers most of the orchard and there is another one down below the orchard seen here You will be dizzy by the end lol turn down sound maybe also

Paul,
It looks like you have a nice farm, thanks for posting. How has your apple harvest been going? Leaves are close to peak in color, still have to work on landings.

Yes I need a bit of work on landing I caught it in the 2 previous flights believe it or not. Apples sucked this year if I got 5 bushels on all my trees that's a lot. I did get a few Hudsons Golden Gem and if you can take russet skin then its the best apple ever. I also got my first Sweet 16 and they really do remind you of red twizzlers so good even better than Honeycrisp. Still need to harvest Granny Smith and Cripps Pink

Your videos are neat but those landing sure do look rough.

No not too bad since the drone is very light. They take a lickin and keep on tickin

Paul have you videod deer w/ it? If so, how do they react?

wow George nice orchard I am way more colorful surrounding here in PA than VT late for all but seems way late in VT the peepers haven't come yet in droves I imagine

George here is the drone video with the deer its shaky and hard to see the deer but you can see them finally run

Nice! Ya, we are 10 days or so behind in the foliage department. All the apples matured a week or two late too. Leaf peepers were here last week in droves. Very good foliage up in the mountains. I'd say it's about peak here now.
